Who's Invited
We have invited friends and family, including children. We will have a few small activities throughout for children, and the venue is in the middle of a park (and across the street from the play structure).
Food
We're having a potluck! Food is incredibly important to us, specifically sharing food with others. So inevitably, we wanted to have that be part of our experience. Additionally, we love vegetarian food. So we are requesting that all dishes be vegetarian.
If you're willing, we'd love to have your recipe. A small memento from your kitchen to ours for us to make again and remember a great evening with friends and family. There will also be recipe cards at the event.
We will have cards to label your dish with allergens that we know not everyone can eat (nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs): any of these are fine, we just want everyone to be aware what they're eating!
If you are traveling into town, we are not expecting you to bring a dish!
We will be bringing a sweet and a savory dish to share.
Other Festivities
We love a good story. We love to laugh. And we look forward to being in the hot seat. Join Toast em' and Roast em'! Aka we won't be doing traditional toasts: what we do want to hear from is you, our guests, about funny stories about, toasts, or roasts of Gavin, Liz, or both! We will have a time for this during the event. And if you don't like public speaking (or can't attend), feel free to reach out and we will have someone read it (or it can just be a private story to us!).
