It started off with a swipe (right), how did it end up like this? Gavin and Liz met a few weeks after March 2020 on a dating app. Two Zoom meetings later and they arranged to meet at a park in late April (that, conveniently, they could both walk to as they lived only a few blocks from each other). Hours of chatting later, both parties were incredibly sun-burned but apparently that wasn't a deterrent to hanging out again. Gavin bought a house later that year, and when Liz graduated from grad school in spring of '21, they decided this person seemed cool enough that they should give it a shot and move in. Six and a half years after meeting, they decided to take hanging out to a new level with a series of ring exchanges.
